The Anxian Getaway is designed for people who are health conscious but not health obsessed. We introduce natural health techniques and environments but we recognize individuality. Each person has their own personal health approach and needs. We let you choose what suits you best and find your own balance. Also this is not just a retreat for health minded people. It is a cultural and spiritual adventure that will give you lots of activities to entertain and excite you.

What is included?

Air transportation from Shanghai to Sichuan

Accommodations, food and local transportation for included activities.

Two nights total in a 3 star hotel in Shanghai for arrival and departures with dinner and breakfast.

    This rural Getaway provides simple Chinese style accommodations normal to rural China (a developing country) with two people to a room, heated during the winter months and free unlimited access to the local hot springs. The rooms have two single beds, usually a bathroom with sink and toilet and a night table. Sorry no HBO or MTV.

Three meals a day are also provided, which will be simple Chinese foods with lots of variety served at set times (not necessarily vegetarian unless requested).

A quiet room for meditation will be available daily but the Getaway may have other guests so we cannot guarantee indefinite solitude. There will be several common areas for people to relax and visit and we will hold some evening activities which will include some local musicians and cultural performances as available.

A health evaluation from a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner is included but treatments or medicines if required are paid by the individual.

 All activities will have one or more  English speaking translators on hand and any of our team can be contacted 24 hours per day. When possible we arrange individual Chinese/nglish speaking partners for walks and local exploring can usually be arranged for small groups and sometimes individuals.
